As of MAY 1, 2012, Viridian Energy is offering a 6-MONTH FIXED RATE
PLAN in each market(In NY MARKET-ConEdison ONLY) so customers will
receive the same rate for 6 billing periods which is available to
NEW and EXISTING RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS ONLY. An early termination
fee of $50 applies for customers who wish to end their contract before
the term of their agreement is complete.If you locked in for the 12
Month Fixed Rate, you may switch to the 6 Month Fixed Rate at 6.99
cents per KWH by calling the Viridian Energy customer care at 1-866-663-2508.However,
Viridian Energy will charge you the $50 cancellation fee. There is
no contract for the monthly variable rate. The MAY CT EVERYDAY GREEN
MONTHLY VARIABLE INTRODUCTORY RATE for NEW QUALIFIED CUSTOMERS is
7.19 cents per kilowatt(kwh) which is a 10% discount for the first
month. The following months will be whatever the current monthly variable
rate is at that time. The MAY CT EVERYDAY GREEN MONTHLY VARIABLE RATE
is 7.99 cents per kilowatt for active existing customers. Commercial
Customers will no longer be able to enroll online. Viridian Energy
requests that all applications be done via paper enrollment. Customers
will need to provide a copy of their most recent bill and fax information.
Please call Mary and she will assist you with the process. The small
commercial 12 Month Fixed Rate is 7.97 cents per KWH for 100,000 KWH
usage per year.
We are asking you to consider switching your electrical supplier
